How to Tackle Exams
Earlier studies, have easy way of preparing students though simplified form of syllabus usually the complete book. While moving upward, studies and exams become more challenging so as the efforts needed. Movement of time and level of studies increases competition between students and a definite desire of being marked as “above average” category of students. Both the teachers and parents are worried too to make their children achieve outstanding score in exams and successfully fulfill the admission requirement for higher studies. Students have many agendas in their mind to achieve that is possible by passing the exams with exemplary results. Among all trouble factors that a student faces, stress is the dominant one. This is also called an “exam fever”. It makes student depressed, afraid and sometimes sleepless due to pressure of exams. There are some ways if taken as measure to manage stress; they will be beneficial for students to manage their exams effectively:
Do it from start
In order to avoid exams stress on peak time of exams when just few days left for the actual day of exam, you need to be pre-planned. You need to do efforts from first day of your class, doing all assignments and taking class notes carefully then a must revision on regular intervals. This will makes you familiar with your study guide that is going to be tested in exam paper.Eventual purpose of taking classes is exams. You should prepare yourself before the exam date is announced .Use your exams calendar that is usually given at the induction phase of a class. Plan the time at your home, you should have weekly and monthly calendar. Have some friend or mentor who can test you every week or month and assessing how well you can perform, in which areas you need help and which areas are to be revised.
Reward yourself
Before exam board, teachers and parents reward you, you set your own target to achieve. Spend your every hour productively for it and gain loyal commitment to achieve it as you targeted. Idealize yourself in a better way. Think high and make it done. Dream for making others to set you as their role models.
Group work
Get together with a group of students who have similar habits and ambitions like hard work, efficient and well performer. Schedule the combine study session outside from class time to time. If you are not as strong in certain areas, it could help to talk to these fellows as well. If you are good at it, share it for brainstorming and make it perfect. It will eventually make you more competitive and capable to tackle exams more effectively.
